Welcome to Our Hiking Blog

Welcome to our blog, “Gotta Hike My Friend.” Following thousands of miles of hiking among five ladies who have developed lifelong friendships on the trail, we’ve decided to share our experiences. Through our footsteps we have learned to persevere, ask for help and encourage one another.

We’ve developed leadership skills we never knew we would through hiking. When to lead, when to follow, when to encourage. These are all aspects of surviving on the trail. We learned more about ourselves than imagined when we started hiking, and what it meant to dig deep to hike 10 more steps.

Enjoy our life lessons, the beautiful scenery and funny tales from the hiking trail.
