Why Hiking

Hiking is good for the soul. When you need to recharge, refresh or rejuvenate, there’s nothing better than hitting the trail for a hike with friends. Hiking connects you with God’s beauty. Hiking challenges you to take 10 more steps when you don’t think you have another ounce of energy to press on.

When looking at the feature image on this page, you may wonder why a group of ladies tackle extreme distances and sometimes continue hiking in the rain. Hiking gives us a great sense of accomplishment. We have created one-of-a-kind memories to share and cherish forever. And, at times, we help some wonderful charities along the way.

Additionally, we hike because we like to eat. We hike because it brings us together. We hike because it teaches us leadership lessons we can apply to everyday challenges.

So when we need to get away and enjoy nature, that’s when we say, “Gotta Hike My Friend.”
